AM Aluminum-Wood System
System Characteristics
Frame system with thermal break and high thermal and acoustic performance.
The Aluminum-Wood AM system was designed to meet the demands of a construction concept that combines the resistance and versatility of aluminum on the exterior with the comfort and elegance of natural wood on the interior, providing added value in terms of energy efficiency, health, comfort, and sustainability between tradition and contemporary design.
The Aluminum-Wood system was designed with a 16 mm chamber to allow the application of special hardware with three-dimensional adjustment for better performance, efficiency, and security.
Possibility of execution in 3 versions of frames:
Straight line, curved line, and oval line.
The AM system allows the application of high-performance double or triple glazing to meet thermal and acoustic insulation requirements according to Directive No. 2010/31/EU.
With excellent thermal insulation combined with the insertion of an innovative insulating product between the profiles, known as ThermoProfile strips, the AM system provides high levels of comfort and energy savings that meet the requirements of Decree-Law No. 194/2015 and Ordinance 379-A/2015.
Aluminum Profiles with Thermal Break
The aluminum profiles are extruded in the architectural aluminum alloy 6060 according to the standard NP EN 12020-02.
Thermal break obtained by inserting 16 mm, 20 mm, and 24 mm omega-type polyamide bars reinforced with 25% glass fiber.
Average thickness of aluminum profiles: 1.7 mm.
The union of the exterior aluminum frames with the interior wooden moldings is achieved through independent fixation with clips at intervals of 200 mm/250 mm.
This union process ensures perfect absorption of the different expansions between the two materials.
Wood Profiles
The profiles are made of solid natural wood with a maximum length of 2.45 m.
With a matte varnish surface treatment.
Possibility of various types of wood, including:
Cherry, French oak, beech, and sapelli.
Other types of wood are possible upon request.
Since wood is a natural product, it may exhibit various tones and textures.
Fixed Frames
Section of fixed frames: 75 mm, 77 mm, and 85 mm with triple chamber;
Traditional fixed frame for the domestic market;
Fixed frame with external clip and 20 mm or 40 mm interior wood finish for the French market;
Movable Frames
Section of movable frames: 93 mm or 97 mm with triple chamber;
